FUSHIFARU MALDIVES

A Private Island Dream
There’s something magical about landing in the Maldives. After a scenic seaplane ride over endless shades of blue, we touched down at Fushifaru, a tiny island packed with everything you’d imagine in a tropical dream.
A Heavenly Arrival with Traditional Touches 🌴
The welcome? Pure Maldivian charm. Traditional Bodu Beru drums played in the background, and we were gifted beautiful handcrafted necklaces made from coconut leaves. A small but meaningful touch that instantly made us feel part of the island.
Beach Villa Sunrise
These Villas are located on the eastern side of the island facing the Sunrise. Our beach villa was the definition of a private paradise—our own pool, direct access to the softest white sand, and an open-air hot tub perfect for soaking under the stars. Every little detail, from the artful leaf decorations on the bed to the natural wood elements, blended luxury with nature in the best way possible.
Dining with a View
Fushifaru knows how to do food. Breakfast stations with next level pancakes? Lunch with chilled white wine by the beach? Yes, please. A buffet dinner with a different cuisine theme every night? Even better. And let’s not forget the dessert station, where we might have gone back for extra scoops of homemade ice cream.
Sandbank Picnic: A Private Island for Ourselves
One of the best parts of our trip? A picnic on a sandbank, just a short boat ride from the island. It was like stepping into a dream! Just us, the ocean, and a table set with fresh food and drinks. Nothing but white sand, crystal-clear water in every direction, and absolute peace. Just soaked in the moment, completely disconnected from the world. With no one else around, it felt like the island existed just for us—pure, untouched, and impossibly romantic. Highly recommended to the honeymooners !
Games, Tennis & Gym with a View
Back on the island, we spent the afternoon unwinding near the restaurant, where we played a traditional Maldivian game (let’s just say it takes skill) and a few rounds of billiards. Later, we hit the tennis court for a friendly match before heading to the gym, which just happens to have a view of the ocean—working out has never felt this good.
A Water Villa with Front-Row Seats to the Ocean
We decided to shake things up and moved to water villa, and let me tell you, waking up here hits different. Sliding open the doors and stepping straight onto the deck with nothing but ocean in front of us? Unreal.
We spent the afternoon chilling on the sunbeds, watching stingrays and baby reef sharks casually swim by, like it was no big deal. The villa had a huge bathtub facing the water, an outdoor shower, and direct access to the lagoon—perfect for a quick swim whenever we felt like it. Sunset from here was next level. We sat out on the deck, drinks in hand, just watching the sky do its thing. No rush, no distractions, just pure Maldives magic.
The Goodbye We Weren’t Ready For ✈️
All good things come to an end, but Fushifaru made sure our departure was as smooth as our arrival. The seaplane transfer was arranged seamlessly, giving us one last stunning view of the atolls before heading back to reality.
Fushifaru is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. If you’re looking for that perfect mix of seclusion, luxury, and authentic Maldivian charm, this is it.
